If you have a free wall, get a projector hooked on HDMI to your laptop, instead of a TV. I’ve been using the Optoma 1080p projector for 3 years now and can attest to the awesomeness of playing Witcher 3 on a 100 inch ‘screen’, no lag, right from your reclining sofa.

Haven’t played the standalone game, but that always felt deliciously odd within W:3 as well.

I wouldn’t even have known of the game if I hadn’t changed upon it during the Steam sale in October. Saw the 10/10 rating and was hooked, though I don’t prefer RPGs. Had no clue about the books or the previous games.
