I think they need to pump up Mark Hamill in Episode 9. We’ve already missed him for a full movie and this is 2017 Mark Hamill - a very willing, capable, and enthusiastic guy who really gets it and his mythos in Star Wars. Let him free.

Right, Tarkin wasn’t bad and it was a one off. But for Carrie Fisher as a main supporting role in Episode 9 it would be hard to not see it be a disaster.

It’s a lack of consequences: what are the other countries going to do? Chinese cheap goods shipped into other nations are too important to start a trade war. There’s something cultural about the Chinese ripping off tech - they do it far more than just video games.

Anecdotally, growing up I was the guy programming creative games and making similarly creative card & board games. But it was all my hardcore gamer acquaintances with programming skills that ripped off my ideas.
