The only way your kid knows he’s terrrible is you telling, projecting, or complaining to the kid. Unless you birthed a child prodigy, your kid only knows the details of the election through you.
And yet, people still seem to think that winning the popular vote actually means something.
Nope, never. The Bulls won six titles and I don’t recall anyone nationally talking about how obnoxious Bulls fans were. And the Hawks have won titles and fans have kept it in perspective. Besides, we’ll always have a sucky team or two to temper our excitement. Chicago will never be universally cocky about their teams.

But it literally happened. She could have shaken his hand, she could have just touched a shoulder, but she embraced him. Trying to read into the quality of the embrace or what expressions on her face indicate whatever feelings she had is, to me, pointless.
GW Bush did do some commendable things as President, including, for example, pressing to funds to help fight AIDS in Africa. And one of those commendable things he did was to sign legislation instructing the Smithsonian to start planning for this museum, and saying he believed it should be built on the national Mall.
I don’t get it. Touching hands is a lot less physical contact than getting your ass handed to you.
