I~I~ah love little girls!

Definitely dubstep. I also think Gwen Stefani's (and No Doubt's) transformation from punky ska to fuckin' disco would seem weird and scary. Also possibly how vacuous rap music has become.

Marilyn Manson cribbing from Pink Floyd and David Bowie…

The episode where Homer is an astronaut also predates this and is a much more vulgar display of "Homer gets a new job" and "celebrity is here as himself to make fun of his public persona." (Edit: referring to James Taylor's appearance, if that wasn't obvious. And for the record, I love that episode… and this one.)

I thought Billy Corgan, surprisingly, did the best job. He sounds mildly amused in every line-reading and that was perfect for his character.

That's odd b/c the stuff I buy is all lower in fat and sodium (even boasts about it on the packaging) than the meat equivalent. Granted I'm not vegan so I don't go after things that are vegan (as opposed to vegetarian) but I can't see it would be much different.

"What is this salty discharge?!"

I thought it was "while I'm able all I wanna do is… zoom a zoom zoom zoom and a boom boom!"

Or she could read the fuckin' Wiki article about the song to find out what the song is about. Or just look at the lyrics and think about it. While it isn't exactly obvious, the song definitely gives you some clue that it's about class struggle. Maybe basing it on a show most people are not likely to have even seen was

O Superman, Where are you now?
When my hyperbaric chamber's gone wrong somehow
O Judge O Mom and Dad, I'm not home right now
I'm losing count it hasn't been an hour

Man, everyone says Siddhartha! But Demian and Beneath the Wheel are just as good! Steppenwolf and Narcissus and Goldmund are also very good.

Columbia House and BMG were basically around to inflate the number of albums sold. It was kinda like how Lady Gaga "sold" so many copies of her last album by basically giving them away as a cheap download.

I believe that's what makes it "best."

"Well…. only since you asked so politely!"

Hey! I've had a hard life! Where the fuck's MY card?!

I hate even commenting on political issues on the AVC because I can never tell when someone is being sarcastic or they really believe things like "those nutty suffragettes!"

I always thought this was about a man into semi-chaste cuckolding.

"And I want to start by saying that I have nothing against Rage Against
The Machine’s members or mission to—I don’t know—overturn the Zionist
conspiracy…" It's cool that they hate the jews but could they at least sound good while doing it?

No Melvins should automatically disqualify your list. I would also count Babes in Toyland as grunge.
