Dude - all of the cars from the past are available to us. In most cases you could restomod one better than new for less money than they originally cost.
And there are certainly more track day options today than there were when I was growing up.

Not to mention that Merc and BMW use propshafts for the front wheels, so they can keep the engines in the proper place.
Ouches all around.
Nice video - on top of the technique, you can sense the absolute commitment.
Aventador rear wheels *are* bigger than the front. Anyway, it is just the lack of conventional perspective that is making it look so bad. It will look fine when it comes out.
I think they do it so as to reveal as little as possible about how the car will look in real life. I think the perspective distortion has actually been deliberately reversed.
I had a feeling it was working against the grid power, but thought it was doing it through fuel or spark modulation. Breaker makes sense.
And yeah - lack of grid sync will apparently shear driveshafts on dams, combined cycle plants, you name it.
Thanks for posting the video! Very interesting.
At least they did a different option in the FR-S ;)
Thankfully, 90% less smirking than a DeMuro video.
I’d go for the Viper even at the same price.
Like the lines in the models that they have had out for a couple years?
Totally agree. Just have to mention that the Corvette has an incredibly compact motor due to the lack of overhead cams.
I agree, but I think they were helped by the fact that there’s no motor in front.
In a good way...
According to Subaru engineers, the wing on the 2015+ STI does provide some amount of downforce, so it could help the car get faster laps on certain road courses.
That movie is proven to lower your IQ with every viewing.
Honest question - why not go mid-engine?
Cars and Car Control.
So much for that ultra-fast design timeline. It just shows that the other car companies may not be so stupid after all.
