Wow! That’s actually a really cool way to keep everything nice and tidy in their own little environments.

On the being a good neighbor front, I’d rather not have someone streaming Netflix (or worse) while I’m gaming. More about control and making sure I know exactly what’s going through my network than anything else.

Yeah I realize that now, but we are talking about home networks, hence my assumption he wasn’t using enterprise level hardware, but BTW what’s the point? I get it it’s a hobby, but it’s still so overkill. Why do you have so many networks for instance?

I’ve seen an inordinate amount of reviews that say “I love this product, it was exactly what I was looking for!” but with a 3 star review. Makes no sense.

Maybe you have enterprise level config going? Idk but home routers don’t let you configure the DMZ like that. Either way, where I got that it wasn’t best practice to leave your wireless network open? Just every single piece of advice and knowledge I know about networks. You never leave it open, plain and simple.

I know exactly what you’re talking about. Don’t have to be a network engineer (I’ve also known plenty of network engineer’s that don’t know what they’re doing). The only thing that makes no sense is connecting your wifi to DMZ... You can only expose one device to the DMZ and that’s curtailing the firewall so again,

LOL seriously your advice is to turn off your router when you’re not using it? That’s the worst piece of advice in these comments yet! There are far better, significantly less inconvenient ways of securing your network.

Alan, you’re dead wrong. In fact hiding your SSID is something you should never do. An attacker then knows you have something to hide. Hiding your SSID is also a useless tactic.

It’s really not. Mac Address filtering is so easily bypassed, it’s not a hoop. It’s an already open door to anyone that knows what they’re doing.

I hope you realize what you’re doing. You are easily opening up your network and bank accounts to be hacked from someone sitting in their car across the street. NEVER leave your network open, NEVER. HTTPS will only do so much.

I shake off a little in the tub and then step out onto my bath mat and grab my towel and finish there.

I’m so ashamed that it would be the Americans...but I’m not surprised.

Makes you wonder how far off the goals of the current foundation have strayed from the goals of the founder.

I can’t recommend KeePass enough. I’ll never use 1Password or the others as they can be hacked. KeePass there’s just realistically no chance, unless you use a weak password on your home devices and the password database.

I’m so sorry to hear that :( omg I’ve heard the same about Susan G Komen. How horrible is that!

Cancer is a very complex disease. It may or may not have been caused by the products you used. I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I hope you’re all good now though!

No, you’re wrong. No enthusiast I know thinks tires, unless you’re talking about 1/4 mile runs because then you need the tires to be able to utilize the power. What Engineering Explained calculates is why tires are better on an actual track, like with turns, not a straight away.

“When you’re almost still, you can do it.”

Why do you think that? He goes through all the math and everything.

Watch is other videos before passing judgement. He really knows his stuff.
