A nice set of matching dishes and cutlery. We spent more than a month figuring out the perfect set and were insanely excited when they arrived.

Ugh. Somehow a student loan bill got lost and so I had a late payment. 60 points.

I lost a friendship recently over payments. It was a rifle. After a year of no payment we said we were going to take it back. He paid. Haven’t heard from him since. Now I’m never going to be that relaxed with a friend.

I have $5,000 in credit card debt at 17%. I’ve been thinking of going to my bank and getting a personal loan for $3,000. My last personal loan was 8%. Good plan maybe? Also, is it standard for a bank to charge an origination fee? For my car I bought last year it was $200 for a $7,000 loan.

My name is Melissa and I like walmart brand dark roast. I’m sorry.

I have a four month old. Last week I was at a coffee met up for young moms with science degrees. One of the other moms asked which books I had read. They were shocked when I said none. The only advice I listen to is his doctors and what I know from being a biologist. Kid’s clothed, fed, is gaining weight, and giggles

Better laundry. I want a machine that will sense how dirty/type of dirt stuff is and put in the correct amount of soap. I feel like we are always using too little or too much. I also want it to be both a washer and a dryer. I want to press a single button, come back a few hours later, and have clean, dry clothes. I

learned that the hard way with some burn ointment...

If I had that breast pump, I think I would have pumped much more and it may have helped my supply. So mad. (I stopped breastfeeding this week)

I like first interstate. We’ve built a good relationship but I’m wondering if loan origination fees are normal. I’m afraid to leave. At this point, we have had several small loans that we pay consistently and early. I was out of town last spring and found my perfect car. I called the bank and they gave us the loan

When we moved into our first apartment from the dorms, we had a table that we found on a curb and a rug that I used in my dorm room. Somehow over the next 3 years, we overfilled that apartment. When we moved into our second apartment 1 year ago, we got rid of 75% of our furniture and started over. It’s great. We are

I don’t actually see the calculator?

So much yes. I have a 4 month old. I have been given so many age-inappropriate things. I live in 600 square feet. Don’t give me toys and clothes that I have to store. If you do, give me a gift receipt. I guarantee I can exchange it for something we actually need. Also, the kid is too little to care. Just buy me those

I’m always on the lookout for my ideal planning ap. I need something that will put recipes together by common ingredients. If I pick one thing, it could suggest something else that will use some of the same ingredients.

As an adult with autism, I have the emotional range of a teaspoon. I tend to solve other’s emotional problems with food. I don’t want to keep this up with my son but it starts early. He’s crying? Boob. I want to teach my son to solve problems proactively. Not with food.

The perfect trash can for throwing away the ashes of your burnt money. Seriously? Why the fuck would I spend more than $15 on a trash can?

We are trying to get better at meal planning. Has anyone found an app they like where it can group together ingredients? I want to stop buying an ingredient and only having one meal in mind for it. Bonus points if it lets you put in dietary restrictions (dairy allergy, vegetarian).

I became a vegetarian in the early 2000s. At least this is better than iceburg lettuce “salads”

No. I’ve only ever done it by hand (wooden spoon, all the kneeding). But I rarely make bread. It’s not worth the effort in my opinion.

My instant pot is my most expensive appliance. I’ve had it for two weeks and I don’t know how I ever lived without.
