I live in one of Montana’s largest cities, with a crazy high cost of living. Here $10 will get you a 14 year old. $15 may get you a high school kid. $20+ gets you a college student/adult (university town). I paid $20 today to drop my baby off at a drop in daycare for an hour and a half. I was losing my mind and just

Thank you! I’ve been veggie for more than half of my life. Do you think you could curate some instant pot recipes? I was just given one (:

my son is almost 3 months old. I’m having a hard time getting him to sleep in his crib. I’m OK with the co-sleeping as far as safety goes, but I’m autistic. All this physical contact is driving me batty!

I just wish I could teach efficiency and multitasking to my husband. He gets less done because he doesn’t know how to multitask. When the baby wakes up I’ll turn on the kettle BEFORE I pick him up. Once he’s out of his onsie, I can pour the hot water in the cup to warm up the bottle. While the bottle is warming up,

I dreamed of having excess milk so I could donate. Nope. We have to supplement. At least the kid is fed.

I also would love if this had pointed out the difference between a stomach bug and the flu.

Absolutely. My son gets mostly formula at night so that I can sleep. Also, mid afternoon my prolactin is in the tanker so the boob is only good as a pacifier. He’s about a third formula fed. Totally healthy 2 month old. I wish I was exclusively breast but I just don’t have the magic boobs and pumping doesn’t work for

Is there a way to speed up your metabolism? I’ve recently lost 20lbs. My goal is 40. I’d love to keep it off!

I have a “oh crap” box in the car. There is a large wet bag, a change of clothes for both me and baby, some bottled water, a can of formula, extra wipes, and a blanket. I lay the blanket down for changes. I’ve just realized that some of those things aren’t going to be helpful now that winter has hit. I don’t have

I have a crazy green thumb. I can bring most any rough plant back to life. But I’ve killed two cacti..

What I get annoyed with is when the dealer says something about all this service included and the price is above book. If I’m paying above book, it isn’t included. If I don’t want it, the price should be reduced.

I’d like to provide you with my biggest cooking hacks when it comes to casseroles.

My son is 2 weeks old. It would be great if we could both stay home. We are living off his wages plus our savings. If we have to choose one parent, it has to be mom. My husband is physically capable of being back at work. I’m not. I wish we could both be home. I’m alone for 9+ hours a day with a newborn. It sucks.

Yup. and these show up a few times a year at costco for a great price.

I’m 6 days post. At the hospital the nurses showed me how to make an icepack between two diapers. The diaper absorbs the liquid as the ice melts. Brilliant!

Sutter Home. It’s about $5. The pink moscato is really refreshing. It was my first drink post-partum.

I fail to see the problem. We go to maybe 1 or 2 movies per year. The ticket price simply isn’t worth being uncomfortable and maybe not liking the film. Spending $20, $30 if we get a soda, is much more reasonable than $40-$60. For those who do enjoy movie theaters, wouldn’t the theater rake in a ton of concessions?

I’m looking into opening my third card. I have two visas. One from costco, which is used as our primary, and one from capital one. I despise capital one. They have terrible customer service and my rate is too high. I was considering the mastercard from my bank. What else should I look at? I want to use the third for

We switched to straight talk about a year ago. In our area, the only reliable big service is Verizon. We are paying half as much and our service is the same.

Thank you! I was worried my decision to get little personal loans over high-interest credit was a bad idea. I’m probably going to take out another 1.5k to pay a month of bills when my son arrives in the next few weeks. I just don’t have that buffer in savings.
