Lots of reports this morning that RGIII will be the backup.

“Miller, more plugged into Bristol than just about anyone else, called it “the tipping point.”
Caveat to the age question: if their kid is much smaller than yours and you find out that he/she is actually the same age or older, don't say something like "oh wow, he's/she's so little!" My kid was a 3-month-early premie and this has probably happened a dozen times in the last year.
I don't know if all of these moves will work, but I have a lot of respect for a coach who can see that he doesn't have the right mix of talent to win a Super Bowl and is willing to take big professional risks and reshuffle the deck. I can't remember the last time an NFL team made such wholesale changes at so many key…
On the bright side, I know from personal experience that the surgery to repair a torn Achilles leaves a 6-8 inch scar on your heel/calf, and you can tell people you were bitten by a shark. #glasshalffull
When kids are little babies, diapers are easy. They just lay there. But when your kid gets a little older, he might be like mine and hate lying on his back. Our solution: portable YouTube. Just cue up some Thomas and Friends on your phone and you've got 2-3 minutes to do what needs to be done while the kid watches…
I have no pithy witticism or snarky joke to add. This is just me telling you, Albert Burneko, that I really enjoy your work on this site. Keep doing you. Do not #sticktosports. You have much to offer this world.
"This is how they treat me when I'm down and out? You kick me?"
"I mean, come on Minnesota. Look around you. There are trees everywhere, with lots of sturdy limbs. Have you learned nothing about how to dispense discipline?"
He's also expressed interest in buying the team someday (and he has a house outside of MSP), so reestablishing ties to the team could be the first step in that effort.
This is masterful.
I went through the exact same situation (28 weeks, 1 lb 5 oz at birth, 87 days in hospital) when my son was born a little over two years ago. Glad to hear you got out. I'm guessing it felt like you never would. Hope everything is going ok with your son/daughter now.
I know it's Austria and they aren't exactly a global scientific powerhouse, but I gotta believe they can come up with a better way to safely stop a sliding human missile than a couple of 2-inch thick Tempurpedics.
Anyone who watched the full video was probably hoping, as I did, that she wasn't run over by the goddamn minivan at the finish line.
Go RMJ=H, Go!
Exactly what I was thinking when it happened. Perfectly fitting ending.

I've unfortunately dealt with both, as I blew my ACL a year before blowing my Achilles (and, three years later, my other Achilles). Both rehabs suck, but I think the Achilles is worse bc you can't walk as quickly after surgery and the pain is more sting-like than the knee (which is more achy and weak-feeling)
It's like a really hard kick to the calf (the first time it happened to me, I accused an opponent of kicking me. He had no idea what I was talking about). I've also read that some people think it feels like a gunshot, but I didn't get that sensation (although I've also never been shot, so it's tough to compare).

I've done this twice, and you know right away. Feels like somebody kicks you in the calf
