Yeah, the Alpha 2, which is what I think what most google searches point to, is outdated. The nightlies, which just got discontinues, fixed the audio issue about 2 months ago. Work is still on going but it will only be made in "major" releases.

Yeah, there are better tablets for more money. My point is the bang for the buck aspect. There are scores of touchpads in the 150 to 190 range on ebay and craiglist, while the tablets you pointed out are going for over 300.

The audio was fixed a couple months ago. Voice search was working quite well in ICS on the touchpad. The front camera was the only thing left to really fix, and someone was working on writing a driver from scratch since neither hp nor the maker of the camera were willing to release the driver.

I am so bummed about losing my touchpad a few weeks back. I've been looking at new tablets to replace it, and it is still one of the best deals around. This probably just seals the deal. If only the camera worked. That would be rad.

I've been wanting something like this for my tv. I want to put my mini HTPC and Extra HD back there, and mount the IR receiver to the side of the tv. Any ideas? Something that works with the vesa mount seems like it would make the most sense.

It is perfectly acceptable to rest your chopsticks on the bowl. You are not suppose to leave them stuck in a bowl of rice or noodles.
