That's exactly what I said, I never mentioned this being a security measure. Someone who's not knowledgeable enough would never even know if a network is available if your SSID is hidden. Hidden or not, if someone wants to really gain entry to your network (again, someone who's knowledgeable enough) will do it.

Hiding your SSID is good enough for most people, unless someone is really trying to target you specifically. If that is that case, depending on how knowledgeable the attacker is, there's very little anyone can do.

Seriously? I've never seen an ad again on YouTube ever since I installed AdBlockPlus on my Macbook. Although, I did install it on my Ubuntu box and it sometimes fails to work. I'll look into YouTube Center though, looks really interesting. Thanks!

To make your Youtube experience a lot better, adding Ad Block Plus is great way to eliminate all of those annoying video ads that play, by force, at the beginning of almost every video you play. Besides, I get rid of the annoying banner ads Lifehacker has too ;P

They're most probably not even going to look at those videos or pictures again. They'll just upload them to Dropbox, Facebook, or whatever and take up unnecessary space.

But when I'm on my computer, I barely even see my desktop. Wouldn't this just hog resources?

So, what options are there for smartphones?

So far, the features Feedly offers are good enough for me. Maybe other power users might benefit from a pro service. As long as they keep on offering the current services for free, then it is probable that most users will continue using it.

But if you're on vacation, do you really need tech? I take my iPhone 4S for maps and a digital camera. Tech can facilitate many things, but sometimes I'd rather leave tech at home and interact with people. Just walk around and ask random people for directions.

Reminds me of this...

While watching this, I found out about this. Treatment depends on the type of autism a person has?

Any terminal and all the commands in unix-flavored systems count?

Some SNES third-party controllers had a turbo button as well ;P

It has now replaced the Solar app I used. I really like this and a lot of the info it provides is very useful.

I was bitching about the same thing.

Nevermind, it's from Otto Schmidth. Thanks!

Hey, can you share your wallpaper? Thanks.

VOTE: Feedly.

What about all the different submarines drug cartels are using to import their products into the states?
