@dfxdeimos: the upgrade just needs to be feasible to assure a cost/benefit investment. the only reason you would really need to buy a new car would be if it isn't running well. it's like upgrading your phone every year just because a new model has a higher pixel camera.

@CaptMorgan74: completely agree. the company i work for still uses windows xp professional on all their computers. i don't even think upgrading to windows 7 is really a viable way to go yet.

imho, it is definitely a great medium to keep in touch with loved ones from afar or when you have specific needs, but no more. at work i handle videoconference equipment, and people here stupidly use it just to see each others faces when they can easily have phone conferences to discuss what they ate for breakfast.

amazing, i just finished browsing through the pictures and to me, old pictures give me a weird feeling. It's kind of like browsing through my old grandparents pictures, they somehow seem lifeless to me.
