It’s real hard to find a better band though when you do want to showcase that do-or-die moment in game 7 of whatever sport.

Non-car people would still think Ford used the namesake first.
I’ve never even thought of it that way, but it does make complete sense. Really I don’t mind them marketing it as a BMW competitor, the problem there is a base model Kia compared to a base model BMW is still just a Kia.
I’ve seen a few Stingers driving around and love how they looked, until yesterday anyways. There was a base model in the parking lot in the silver, it looked as beige as any other Toyota or Honda out there. Of all the cars that need more color options, this is it.
I agree with this, if I were in the market, especially for a turbo forester to mod, this is a great deal. But no NP by any means, and the mods would scare off any customers other than poor college kids that think they’re getting a speed demon. Absolutely agree. After selling cars for a few years, FE was rarely a top concern, but more like important-ish.
Wallets go both ways on this. People will think more mpgs = more money saved at the pump, even if they don’t realize the tech to get them there cost more than the same car from 10 years prior. As for Hybrid, infrastructure definitely has an impact too. Charging stations are not readily available to all consumers, and…
Now that’s how math works!
