Don't rewatch it. It still terrifies me.

The reason the PCs felt weak is because these types of buyers were too dumb to do basic computer maintenance, any kind of upgrades, or do what tech support told them to do.

Do not create, under any circumstances, lightsabers that are ergonomic.

Looking forward to it!! You gotta read the book 1776, these founding fathers were just bad ass hipsters in their 20s and 30s creating a new country like they were forming a craft brewery.

Fuckin Mel Torme.

Does it just fall on the floor?

There are very few movies I will never see. This is one of them. Before I had a kid I would have seen it. With a son of my own, I can't bear the thought of this experience.

Ah good point. LA is quite different. My viewpoint stems from being in a particular company where stunning men & women are hired from top business schools apparently on looks alone. I see it all the time in my little slice of the world: male and female 8s, 9s, and 10s getting the job with the odd 6 sticking out like

My favorite is the FBI file on Sinatra.

Which kinda ruins it for me. A woman this old, who still looks that good, isn't going to fall very far unless she's mentally ill. Women will want to be with her, men will want to be nice to her, companies will want to hire her.

I'd recognize that tush anywhere!

It's a pretty good line of logic, and it has its value. You can't really unpack prejudice without it.

fair enough.

What about Hepcat?

I realize there shouldn't be a connection, but even in the absence of a connection I'd rather not look at it every five seconds. We know fit female models all over the screen contributes to female body image problems, don't forget that issue. I am definitely old fashioned when I say I'd rather not see the endlessly

We may keep our thoughts to ourselves as people. But as broadcasting networks, clothing manufacturers, American Apparel ad companies, etc we're pretty good at shoving sex in everyone's faces. Not that it should trigger sexual misbehavior, but fer chrissakes, can we take it easy a little bit? Any reason we need kid's

I do think it's gotten a little more attention say, the last 4 years, as defintions have widened and it's become a hot topic. A few Google Trends searches should prove that out. And with this, a lot of people are asking "why?" Not everyone is hip to the notion that society dominated by men, etc.

Right above an ad for The Magicians, featuring a floating semi-nude model dressed in fetishized school-girl gear.

I think we're stuck in a place where some people don't want to tell poor people what to do because of "dignity", and some people don't want poor people to make bad choices.

That's probably the most sense Mother Jones has ever published.
