I could see riding for fun, but not for work.
I could see riding for fun, but not for work.
Biking in a Michigan winter sounds fun.
I would be willing to bet the venn diagram of people who were able and willing to commute to work by bike and people who’s jobs have switched to work from home is pretty close to a circle.
Who doesn’t want to risk their lives to get to work all sweaty with helmet hair?
no matter how many times she proves herself people still forget how talented she is
People were so focused on Kidman that they blew right past that bizarre choice.
I don’t think that the actor who plays a real person has to looks exactly like them, but I do think it helps when they have superficially similar looks. Often if the performance is good and the script is done well, along with some good makeup and costuming then the audience can overlook that the actor doesn’t look…
I also think that Javier Bardem is miscast. As good of an actor as he is, he sounds nothing like Desi (in the trailer) and only bears a passing resemblance.
Kidman WAS so pretty. I think a part of the pushback is how distracting the work she’s had done is. Straight freaks me out every time I see her.
Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are both great. But they seem completely miscast.
Ugh, I looooove how this highlights the fact that Chapelle isn’t even being original with his jokes. Can we start focusing on that? I feel like calling a comedian offensive excites them, whereas pointing out how unoriginal their jokes are might actually make them improve their material.
I thought the same thing. He’s going on about how he “won’t be summoned,” but then offers “an audience” with himself? Like stop breathing in your own exhaust fumes, buddy. The result is really not a good look.
It was especially weird to be “willing” to grant them “an audience” and then saying he won’t “be summoned.” Like, what part of allowing them “an audience” with him is any less pretentious?
None of the Netflix employees’ demands were about taking his special down or meeting with him. Dave just wants to feel important.
How about a few word from someone that does push the envelop and really is That Fuuny.
YOUR MOM'S A DISNEY FILM PERHAPS
YOU GUYS.
Can we please discuss the fact that Natalie is sexually harassed by the President, and then when the PM sees it he doesn't say anything and Natalie spends the rest of the movie apologizing for her own harassment?!? Crappy plot lines are one thing, but encouraging the idea that women are at fault for being harassed is…
But they show him flying into the Marseilles airport at the end. But maybe I missed a scene after that where he goes to Portugal?
My darling Lindy,
