Win7 and 2008R2 only btw.

Try Virtual Router Manager. Dead simple.

I would buy more insurance.

Am I the only one wondering why the "How to Disable It" part is nowhere to be found in the article?

I can't possibly see any privacy issues with letting your kinect connect to the internet with access to a live video feed of you in the nude.

Standard obligatory comment regarding wasting time by complaining about wasting time.

Lifehacker enables creepers, idiots, and would be hackers/pirates every day of the year. This isn't going to break anyone's bank.

There's 6 wall-less cubicle-type area-things in my office, each of which has at least 2 or 3 computers on all the time, each of which has a clock, and I still get (mostly tongue-in-cheek) complaints about my storage unit covering up the wall clock. FYI, there appears to be a Mac version as well.

Also using lots of technobabble in a way that is not disrespectful helps too.

There's always been real-time-rendered game engine previews that look as good as period pre-rendered video. It just never gets used efficiently enough. So devs end up either having to lower the quality so everyone can play it, thus ruining the potential, or having recommended specs so high that _no one_ can play it.

Wait, people buy jeans because they look good and want them to stay that way? I thought jeans were supposed to be the rugged workhorse of hosiery. Going the extra mile to keep your jeans looking good seems a bit like washing the treads on your tires IMO.
