Ok first of all why are we even using the term '4G'? It's a marketing term, there's no such thing as 4G. It's LTE, or HSPA+...the whole 4G thing pisses me off.

Well, for me personally...my girlfriend, most of my best friends, my mom, and my sister all have iPhones...and that's most of my texting. The end game is to be able to drop my texting plan down to 1000 from unlimited and save a few bucks a month. I would never completely drop my text plan.

I just don't like the fact that it's ANOTHER thing facebook has access to: your entire texting log. Having the beta I can tell you iMessage is much much better than this (except the fact that it's iPhone only). I can't wait till everyone has iOS 5

I'll vouch for the Mint, and really their whole website in general. I started using it last year - I have all my financial accounts hooked up. It's great being able to see how much money I've made (or lost) at the end of every month.

I used to, but a while ago I switched to the default Mail app and still use it. The integration of everything and the push notifications are the game changers for me. Gmail actually transfers nicely to it. I can still view and use starred messaged, I can archive, etc. It does everything I need it to do.

The beta is a pretty good indication of how the release build will work. The goal is that when everyone upgrades to 5.0, third party apps will already be compatible. That's one of the main reasons Apple releases the beta to developers in the first place.

I'm on the iOS 5 beta and have the Camera+ update and the volume button doesn't work as the shutter, so I don't know.

Good! I hate when people park like douchebags. And it's true, 99% of the time it's a really nice car and you get the impression that the person thinks they're above parking rules. I'm talking parked clearly over the line of 2 spaces, or even the dreaded horizontal park across 3 vertical parking spaces.
