Yeah, RunKeeper is how I found this out. I started a run, locked my phone, and then re-entered the app a little later and it lost me the whole time my phone was locked - then told me I was running at 2:30 min/mile. Cool, but I'm not that fast.

Be careful with disabling 'Background App Refresh'. You may want to do it on a per-app basis. If you disable it for GPS apps, you'll lose GPS in the background. Find My Friends also needs background refresh to be on.

Southwest is up to $8/flight actually - and they block streaming video services (Netflix, HBO Go, WatchESPN - all blocked), so it's a waste of money for me.

I for one am really disappointed that Apple is dropping the Google public transit maps. That feature in cities like New York and San Francisco has helped me tremendously many, many times. It will certainly be missed.
