“Insecure fragility” is the perfect description.

This. Particularly playing next to Jeter. Jeter was the human shield the team and it’s fans used to hide behind, defending the nonsensical “Yankee Way.” Jeter knew how to play the role to a tee.
Rodriguez just wasn't built to play in New York. I think had he stayed with a small to mid-market team, people would be singing a different tune right about now. It's a shame because he had all the talent but he had an insecure fragility to him which precluded him from enjoying the game of baseball in New York.
I see no problem with the underwater cameras, I see a problem with freaking out over seeing a woman’s nipple, especially in this context. They’re not sex objects, they’re athletes competing. This view gives a good look at a sport where a lot more happens under the surface of the water than the casual fan realizes.…
Probably the best commercial ever.
Great googly moogly.
As a Yankees fan, I’d sooner go to the ballpark to evaluate young talent and see prospects then watch Fuck-Rod chase for 700* homers.
I’m really trying not to but you guys are making it fucking impossible
Kenny Lofton did this in the 1996 ALCS
I got 11 balls today
Westbrook hasn’t won a championship with arguably the 3rd/4th best player in the league, so what makes you think he would’ve won it with Jimmy Butler or any other Bulls player?
So whose career would you prefer to ruin? Jordan’s or Durant’s?
In 1998 the Sixers took Larry Hughes one pick before Dirk. Reversing that would have prevented Sam Hinkie from ever being born.
Well I’m a Blazer fan, so fuck this question.
Taking any one of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, or Dwyane Wade over Darko, obviously. That pick had the potential to be a “James Worthy to the Lakers” kind of dynasty maker. Instead, the Pistons took a player whose greatest career accomplishment is getting a blog named after him.
dork? maybe...nerd? perhaps...asshole? nope, that's you for being so judgmental of another grown man's hobby preference
I think in order for this to be a little more accurate, you have to go a step further and examine the words used by position/position group. I think you tend to see words like "leader" for a position like QB more often, which is predominantly occupied by white players, which might skew the results a bit.
