As I man, I second this. My wife does as well. We just went 3 weeks without having it together due to travel and back to back holidays staying at each parents house with a kid in the room.

I do think some attitudes are part of the problem. Any kind of relief for someone living paycheck to paycheck is fantastic. BUT... It all should have gone there with a corresponding increase on taxes to the wealthy with some corp. tax relief.

The other issue will be a potential negative economic impact in these states. For instance, every dollar my taxes go up will be a dollar reduction in spending locally or elsewhere. Maybe that will be offset but who knows.
