Really? A post on how to return your iPhone?

@photojojo: Im sure iChat and Skype will be available very soon. But it would be a small trick to phone dial an iChat account and switch that over to a voip call. It would probably be easier to just have the phone sitting in a dock, although it's totally,ly conceivable they would have built a custom system to handle

This is retarded. Not only have reception issues identical to this come up every time an iPhone is launched, but the entire premise that any company would base ALL of their RF testing from a few units in the field is just absurd.

@Lemonade: No, the majority of phones sold in the UK as "3G" do not have front facing cameras. Hardly any of them do, in fact.

@Lemonade: There are many front facing camera phones here and in every country, it isn't some unique euro/japan or whatever area you are in.

@_derx: You hate them because they serve koolaid in line? Or because they didn't? Is grape drink not good enough for you?

@cc: Yes it's true, most of the good network content seems to be in HD and in good quality HD as well. More and more I find 5.1 as well, which is a real plus (I won't hold my breath for 7.1 - great for PS3 games though!).

@WestwoodDenizen: Far from it, I assume that they did the math and don't see a return on making good use of the additional HD portions of the image, because not enough viewers are on the standard, and there would be additional costs to leverage HD.

@cc: I still have a large number of HD channels that occasionally broadcast SD content and monkey with it. A&E was classic for wide stretching their SD, and many other "HD" channels just run SD content with animated bars on the sides. Sometimes the bars contain peripheral info (like weather on news stations), but it's

@WestwoodDenizen: I was going to put quotes around "real" but couldn't be bothered.

This is why I hate TV so much. Most of the content is in SD, and most customers don't understand why HD would be better (or that 720 isn't real HD!).

Weird, my iPad doesn't even get warm, even watching streaming video for a few hours or playing games. Hard to imagine how someone is managing to overheat one.

@louruiz002: iPhone works great on networks other than AT&T. I get maybe dropped call every 2 months on Rogers, same as I got with any other phone.

@Coulterboy: I'm quite sure Apple is frustrated as hell at the carrier situation in the US.

@Gators15: FWIW when they say 1 meter it's usually good to a tiny bit more, but I agree that it's not much.

@almondrickrossroca: That doesn't help you if you want gps in the middle of a lake in northern Canada.
