I'm not sure about that. I thought the victim went missing a few months after Avery was first released, but he was actually out for 2 years already (from 2003-2005) before the victim went missing. Would they have had surveillance on him for that long? Maybe I guess. I really have no idea, lol.

Exactly! I wonder what other possible motives could there have been though?

It really is a very peculiar case.
-The bones must have been moved because fragments were located in 3 different locations (one location being found off of Avery's property)
-The victim's blood was found in the back of her own vehicle.
-But if her blood was found, that possibly means her body was likely moved before it

Exactly!
-no finger prints belonging to Avery found anywhere on the vehicle.
- The police had access to the evidence (Avery's blood vial)
- The evidence was obviously tampered with as the tape was cut.

It is also not just the bones that don't make sense. The victim's blood was found in the back of her car. If she was transported, she must have been transported from Avery's home where she was last seen to a different location where her body was burned, possibly back to Avery's to drop off the bones in his fire pit.

I was wondering that too if a second person was involved with 'planting' the bones on Avery's property. But having two different parties involved to frame Avery jus seems way too unlikely.
Something I'm not completely clear on after watching all 10 episodes was what the prosecution's theory was on Avery's motive. That

Just wait until you watch episode 4. The role of the Manitowoc police is very suspicious especially around the evidence.

Burned bones that are believed to have been moved to Avery's fire pit from a third location. Something anyone could have done. Not enough evidence.
