I perfectly understand being upset and that’s certainly natural. It’s just the people lashing out at the production staff and implying nefarious motivations that seem like an issue to me.

Well, it’s also what happens when you’re on Season 7 of an extremely plot-driven show with a huge ensemble cast, where the seasons are comprised of 22 hour-long episodes. There’s bound to be a glut of backstory, and it’s definitely going to be daunting to try to explain anything to newcomers.
