Just outside of Greenville, South Carolina in a tiny town called Traveler’s Rest. The name really nails the description of the town, but they have a great park that was just far enough off the beaten path to be the perfect spot.

I realize it’s not cool to really show emotion or whatever, but that shit was easily one of the most incredible moments of my life. It was really cool to experience it with my husband and daughter, who is 13 years old and didn’t touch her cell phone for at least 15 minutes! Pretty amazing.

So today alone I heard about 4 different people who regret their Trump votes. A neighbor’s husband, a friend’s elderly mother, and two other acquaintances, they think he’s a big dope now. WRT Fox News, I was at the gym today. Half of the TVs are playing CNN and half are playing Fox News. CNN is non-stop Bannon coverage. Fox? A segment on dogs and cats who can surf. They are trying to get everyone to bury their heads in the sand so deeply they never see sun again.

In the past few weeks we’ve said goodbye to the Mooch, Spicey, Reince and as of today, Steve Bannon.

I already commented but I like this interpretation. If we spent as much time organizing politically as we do dissecting the intentions of liberal comedians, we might actually have a chance at changing things.

There’s a local fast food chain that usually ends up in the news whenever the minimum wage goes up as ‘the other side’ because they pay their workers above minimum wage anyway and so they usually are being interviewed saying “It’s no big deal for us, we’re currently paying more than that anyway.”

It turns out when you give someone unlimited authority and no accountability, they act like sociopaths. You would think that, over time, we would start reining this type of assault in if only out of self consciousness.
