My father is a life-long conservative, I am a life-long progressive and we are equally horrified by Trump. I think he may even be more horrified because Trump has completed the decimation of the truly Republican party (a process that began when they started pandering to evangelicals).

My parents are the same. I’m in a very red state, but I think many, many Republicans don’t want to say out loud in public that they’re voting for Clinton, because of a million reasons (they never thought they would; blowback from friends and family; continuing cognitive dissonance left over from the 1990s).

Most of my Republicans friends are voting for Trump, but I know one who is definitely voting for Hillary. Also, all of the houses in my neighborhood that had Romney signs four years ago, none have Trump signs.

I fee like people are completely ignoring the fact that their is a solid portion of his own party that has committed to vote against him. It’s not just columnists, look at the counties surrounding Philly. It’s hard enough to win a republican with 100% of your own part voting for you.

My issue is w/series finales. Pick pretty much any show throughout my life that had any meaningful effect on me & I have not seen the final episode.

I have tv watching commitment problems. Like I can own a movie and never watch it but if it’s on tv I’ll usually watch it. Same thing with Netflix. That’s why I love binge watching, you make a selection and it’s ride or die at that point.
