I always liked the look, and I test drove one when they were new.  It was fine.  Nothing spectacular, very comfortable and spacious.  And this is too expensive.  CP.

The condition seems to indicate that this is just playing dress up and hasn’t tried out the off road modifications.  The mileage indicates if you’re going to, you’re going to find more issues.  CP.

Close to NP.  But the slusher in it kills it.  If you want a cruiser, you could do so at that price nicer, more modern, and more comfortable.  If you want a performance car on the cheap, that 4L60 ain’t gonna get it done. CP.

Why any of this? A slow, auto, econobox.  I get the 80s simplicity of vehicles is missed, but this was crap then.  Crap then isn’t gold now.  At half the price it could be a fun oddity.

You could dump 700 bucks in parts alone on this, labor for 8 hours doing it yourself, and then you would have... a base model passat that has tired compression.  Why?  CP.
