I was about to post the same thought. In fact, the entire cast of “Mrs. Maisel” (and the show as a whole) is pretty wonderful. 

These reviews are terrible.

“Donna spends her vacation finally finishing Pilgrim, which ends with Cameron’s warrior-hero finally reaching that inviting-looking cabin, and being greeted with an embrace...”

...from what looks like a child.

Interesting analytical insight.

This show is about the birth of the commercial porn industry, which seems about as connected to “the modern day United States”, and something that “could benefit from Simon’s keen eye and journalistic sense” as anything I could imagine.
