I thought the Governor was the most interesting character on the show.
Unlike the majority of characters, he had some depth. I hated him and
loved him at the same time. RIP.

It doesn't bother me because, essentially, it is all about Phil and is seen from his perspective. He was convinced he was the last man on Earth (for quite a while anyway). Although Phil is always doing the wrong thing, I still can't help but like him!
