Why not do it NHL-Helmet style - if you’re a current driver, it’s an option, if you join this season or into the future, it’s required. Eventually everyone has it, and those who have raced without it have the option to continue doing so (though I suspect most would opt-in pretty quickly).

1 is a generic 4-banger, 2 is ‘Bane’ on the telephone, 3 is an old-school master cylinder, 4 is a 90000-series Briggs & Stratton on its side, 5 is an LS

I mean, short of runing into the lack of lubrication, it’s a lot less damaging to rev a wankel to the moon than a piston engine, since there really aren’t parts to slam into eachother, springs/valves to float, etc.

Of the 12 or so hours I was able to watch of this, the last 12 minutes were decidedly the best 12 minutes of racing I think I’ve seen
