Roughly, if he gave every employee $2000 a month for two months it would cost him about $20 million. That is a drop in the bucket for these out of touch money hoarders. Any billionaire who isn’t supporting their employees through this is a piece of shit.

Do you know that this guy’s net worth is almost three billion dollars...? He wouldn’t have a penny of that without his workers. I think he/the company should have offered some sort of part -wage stipend for a few months at least, and perhaps at least offered health insurance for even the part-time/contractors- which

It is not eternity that would get boring, and this episode doesn’t claim that. It is eternity without the possibility of an end that would get boring. It’s not natural. There becomes no point to anything and all you end up doing forever is instantly gratifying yourself.

They already had that with the green doors that could take you to any time or any place, real or imaginary and it wasn’t enough.

Or how they have fires burning in the old subway tunnels if there is no oxygen.

Alessandra was in physics. Simone was biology. Both thought their fields are the most important to explain the world. For Chidi it was philosophy.

I dunno, newborn Chidi crying over the first hypothetical instance of decision making ("It looks like he has a tummyache!") was pretty hilarious in my book.

It’s gotten deeper as the show progresses, but I generally find there’s at least one moment per episode I legit laugh out loud at, so yes.

I find multiple moments to be genuinely hilarious each episode. It may be slightly less “funny” than it was in, say, the first season, but not by much, and each episode still qualifies as funny nonetheless.

I’ve had some legitimate laugh out loud moments, but it’s definitely become more and more about plot as it enters the endgame

Soulmates are not found. They are made. That Michael and Chidi talk was something beautiful.

-“We’re not not a book group”...Chidi. Chidi, no.

Heh heh heh.  Oh, white dot with blue tail, will you ever find what you’re looking for?

...huh?

Ugggh. So her soon to be ex-husband choreographs a revenge porn campaign against her, and she resigns her position. Ugh.

This is fine because the Nationals are well suited to a bullpen game. As long as "bullpen game" means the emergency starter goes 8 innings.

I’m sorry but Airiam has been a tangential (if best) character. She’s had hardly any scenes and in the FIRST episode where they start to flesh out the character (tell us ANYTHING about her life), they fucking kill her. They just “red-shirted” a member of the bridge.

Nice post - this episode reminded me a lot of Lower Decks, though unlike the one-off nature of that episode, I hope we continue to learn more about supporting characters like Owo and Detmer.

Does that mean all the usual whiners will be over there...

Can we talk about the girl power on display in this show and this episode in particular?
