I was surprised they were able to sneak a phrase like "He wants his privacy while I go to change my clothes" into the show. The stuff with Hera as Asmorigan's property started to veer into some subtle adult territory.

Yeah, I didn't know Hirsch said that. Still, it seemed like it would make a good plot, for Dipper to see her as something other than what she actually was. Kinda like Wendy and Robbie, but with Dipper in Wendy's spot.
My guess is that Pacifica has a chance in becoming Dipper's Season 2 crush. Like maybe, he starts to feel for her, and sees something in her that no one else sees. Then that would strain his relationship with Mabel a bit.
