And as long as we decide that “the market” will fix problems like this, it’ll stay that way. Unregulated capitalism does not have society’s best interests at heart.

“We need workers for our businesses!”

Seems awfully expensive, and close in price to far more capable machines. Talking to a guy yesterday who picked up a BMW M340i for $57k. Kind of apples to oranges, I know. But, I just can’t really imagine the buyer for this car.

Seems to me that laws that protect acts of violence in the name of self-defense, laws that protect gun owners when their guns are used by others after being stored improperly, juries and judicial systems that are selectively lenient to certain classes of people create a system in which accountability doesn’t really

How many people that buy a 50k car, keep it long enough to care.

If I want entry level luxury and a sporty car, I’m giving up 2 doors and sticking with a Golf R, S3, M240i, M340i, RS3, S4.

There is such a lack of empathy and kindness in the world we are living, this is truly sad. I am not an expert neither did I study about this topic but a lot of people just seem to not care anymore about others, I am not sure why.

I honestly don’t agree with your blanket statement of all Minnesotans. The people here are not lazy, they’re just cheap.

The 2024 Acura Integra Type S Starts at $51,995, Which Is Either More or Less Than You Were Expecting

It’s easy to repo a Harley. It just takes a little preparation and two people. First, make an appointment at the office, and then one repos the bike while the dentist is looking at the second person’s teeth!

Also applies to F-150 owners.

How hard can it be? Head to your dentist’s office.

Or the idiots would destroy the bikes out of spite, even the paid-off ones.

How fragile a man must be if his whole sense of being is a motorcycle.

I guess it really does apply to Harley owners.

HD should make a commercial featuring a trans person... they’d all be forcefully returned in record time.

Repoing a Harley is probably the easiest way to steal someone’s “identity”.

This is my argument for BEVs. ICE cars have reached the point in their development where only incremental gains can be made in power/emissions, and those gains come with increasing complexity. As they age they are likely to become maintenance nightmares. Every ICE car will be like owning a 15 year old Audi.

Stories like this reinforces my view that I want to stick to manual transmission cars (that are not the manual transmission in recent Mustangs that Ford somehow managed to fuck up) and then make the jump straight into a BEV with a simple 1-speed transmission.

I will tell all of the people that are trying to commute in an undriveable turd that drag racing dipshits are doing just fine.
