That’s literally not the EPA’s job. Their job is to set standards to keep air (and other) pollution minimized. The industry’s job is to find ways to do that - maybe following what other countries have managed to do already.

I don’t think anyone is claiming that EVs are the cure all for environmental issues, but they are much better than what they are replacing. They are also much more fun and cheaper to operate, so I’m all for it.
