Please do explain

You must really fly a lot if you think that Continental is still around ;)

Sounds like the perfect opportunity for a zipper merge to me. This wasn’t in Seattle was it ;)

1k is ridiculous. I fly cross country fairly often and can consitently find a round trip ticket from JFK -> SEA on Delta for $300 to $400. Anything under $300 I usually jump on since it’s a good deal.

Will it diesel?

And that’s just the flight costs. How about all of the money NYPD spends towing every car off of the streets that the motorcade travels down?

All those crazy sounds as the truck is approaching sounds like a synchro trying to find its way into reverse. Then that noise finally stops, the driver drops the clutch, and the fun begins.

Might want to double check that statement about 45 cubic inch intakes. An intake can be measured with cross sectional area, but not with volume.

Funny that you initially thought the detectable warning surface was for extra traction. I have had the opposite experience many times walking on one of those suckers with dress shoes.

I’m having trouble understanding exactly how you determined this protest amounted to any change. By Kalanick leaving Trump’s circle all he has done is acted like a coward against his beliefs in order to appease another crowd. If he wanted to influence Trump he should not have disassociated himself.

I hope it was at least a ST or RS. Otherwise he would have been better off folding down the back seats with his favorite gal and testing out how spacious the interior is. Kids these days.....

Are women allowed to drive yet in Saudi Arabia? Maybe they should reprioritize their goals.

Google already tried that with phones when they bought the phone division of Motorola. Google ended up selling them for a loss a few years later. I doubt Google will try something like that again. It requires significantly less capital to just partner with another company and still have the ability to earn some extra

If you’re a fan just because of their diesel endurance cars you are not giving Audi enough credit for their dominance before they introduced the diesel engines and still destroyed the competition.

I never said 184hp is cutting it.

Been there, done that. Mazda made the Mazdaspeed 6 already but then chose not to continue making sporty models.

Skip shift was implemented to get around the gas guzzler tax, right? If so that sounds like more of a fuel efficiency loophole than trying to cheat emissions.

These are diesels so you only have to vary the amount of fuel injected into the cylinder. Also another neat thing about these engines is that the cam had two exhaust lobes per cylinder and another lobe to actuate the mechanical fuel injector.

And for standby power generation. I used to work at a mission critical facility in NYC that had 12 of those bad boys as emergency generators. They were rated at 1.2MW each. Those specific engines had quad turbos on top of the two superchargers. Since they are two-stroke engines, the superchargers provided a positive
