So many Italians to choose from in the 1960's, but to go a little more left field I’ll propose the Eagle Speedster.It takes the basic beautiful E type and subtly, refines and reworks it into something truly spectacular. I’d take this at £1m over the lastest overwrought hypercar any day.

Take one obsolete British sports car, one massive American V8, and the Cobra is peak hot rod.

The RX vision is probably the most cleanest coupe design ever. Coupled Mazda’s beautiful Reds, she’s just gorgeous. Just call it something else with a conventional engine or hybrid and I would definitely pick one up.

The real answer, Nissan IDX, was already taken.  However it’s a shame that the Volkswagen BlueSport never saw the light of day - don’t know if it would have lived up to the hype of a modern 914 / true budget Porsche, but would have been cool to have another affordable-ish roadster option:
