11 years old and still looks fresh.

I would still have mine if the rust hadn’t gotten up into the C pillar. The rust problems on the 2004-2008 6s was horrible. I also have a thing for wagons.

only thing that dates it is the small 16" wheels and popup headlights.

Was thinking the same thing and then you said it. Put some led tail lights and BBS wheels and you would be good.

Will it daily?

Rule Number 1. Buy something that is not from a gulf state.

Be weary of any really cheap Porsches from the Houston area.......

For me it is the new Jaguar F-Pace. I wanted to like this so much and it is pretty on the outside for an SUV but when you get in a base model, it might as well be a Kia. For spending Minimally $42k you would think that the plastics would be above Fisher-Price quality. And to get any sort of features, you have to

Ugh, don’t remind me. This is by far the worst car that I have ever owned. I had a 1988 Tempo White on Red cloth. The entire interior was red. The thing always had something wrong with it.

I hate seeing Cayman on Cayman carnage like that.

I am with George and Kristen on these picks.

If you go for a Protege5 or an older Mazda3, beware of rust in the rear wheel arches. Mazda had a bad design for the 3 and 6 from ‘02 to’08. If you do get one, make sure it is from a place that doesn’t snow.

I bought my ‘89 BMW 325is in ‘94 with only 26,000 miles. I proceeded to put on 125k miles on it over the next 12 years. That thing was still running strong when I traded it and a minivan in on a ‘06 325. I wish I had never sold it.

same here. I changed my plugs on a ‘04 Mazda6 and the rear 3 were horrible to get at. I only did it because the dealership was going to charge me $400 to replace $45 worth of plugs.
