I ended up fast forwarding to Lourd’s scenes — hopefully she won’t be permanent relegated to be a Ryan Murphy company player (I’m assuming being the daughter of a beloved icon and a Hollywood power broker makes this unlikely).

Yes, it struck me that Kai might not even be a voter and that Ally voted for Jill Stein. This isn’t R vs D.

Didn’t watch yet but I think it’s hilarious that someone was paying attention to the fact that leading up to Trump’s election we, as a nation, were actually collectively afraid of killer clowns. My sister actually, asked me if it was a real threat. Then after the election, nothing. Truth is stranger than fiction.

I know every season of this show is sort of thrown together last second, but this premise seems particularly cobbled together. Trump paranoia mixed with those urban legend scary clown sightings with some accumulated IT marketing hype sprinkled on top.

I fear that many viewers are going to be too distracted by the Trump backdrop to really get what the show is about this season. It isn’t ABOUT Trump or the election. It isn’t about the alt-right nazis or snowflake liberals. At least in the first episode, it’s really about a mentally ill woman whose psychoses intensify

It did make me think I’d like to see Billie Lourd play the nanny in The Omen. (Which is where this is going, right? She nurses the kid’s worst instincts and turns him into a psycho?)

Same same same. Loved Roanoke, second to Asylum. They finally tried something different, experimented with the format. I thought it was great and it made me a huge fan of Adina Porter.

No. They’re not. Cheyenne Jackson’s been in the past 3 seasons. Mare Winginham, from the promo for season 2, has been in it since Coven. Adina Porter, Frances Conroy, Chaz Bono, John Carrol Lynch, Emma Roberts and James Morosini are recurring from previous seasons as well.

Really? I actually thought Roanoke was the best season they’ve done since Asylum. They actually stuck to some rules and plot and in parts, was somewhat scary.

I thought it was a big bag of baby carrots at first, not Cheetos. People need to turn their lights on once in a while.
