I disagree.
It was the 1st-generation Escape was the REAL predecessor of the Bronco Sport! Just look at this:

Speeding!?

You mean DISTRACTED DRIVING.

At this point, I trust drunk/high drivers more than people watching TikTok/Facetime while driving...

I believe that we should still choose what we buy and not stifle and force us on what we buy.

If I refuse to buy an EV and buy a “Dieselgate VW, THAT IS MY CHOICE and no one else!!!
I just hate that government forces us and pressure small and big businesses alike to transition ourselves into this “big EV revolution.”

It

I’m from Las Vegas, NV.

Southern NV (mainly Clark County) is basically a planned community for SoCal/LA County area.”
(credit to Steve Sanchez of 720KDWN for that statement)

And basically Nevada is part of California already for all I care.

Can’t wait to move out of here...

The North American Pick-Up Trucks nowadays are basically SUV’s with a bed:

- Crew/Double-Cabs with STRICTLY 5.5ft/1.676m Beds (or less).

The diminishing Manual Transmission options. Come on! Look at the latest Tacoma, a sprinkle of the option on Crew-Cabs AND NOTHING on Extended-Cabs! Same is true with the new GM Colo-Can, non-diesel Nissan Frontier, and North American Ford Ranger no MTs at all!!!

I HATE CARB with a passion.

I hope they’ll defunded and abolished!!!

In a perfect world:
Toyota Land Cruiser 76 (10-seater, MT, Diesel, BANNED IN USA):

Now playing

Almost all automotive videos are lame, except with a very few hidden gems here and there. Its very tough to pick a single Best MOTORing/Hot Version video as for me they’re the class standard.

But if I only have to pick ONLY ONE?
Ruf CTR Yellowbird + Nurbie Ring + 1987 = ...

Normies wouldn’t tell the difference between this WRX and a typical CUV.

It has black fenders, so it’s a CUV, right!?
~ Normies

This would be the perfect time for Subaru to release the Outback Sedan again.

Subaru can just drop the FA20T into the Crosstrek and call it the Crosstrek XT. And voila be done with it!

While at it, re-badge the WRX as the Crosstrek XT Sedan. It already has the looks down pat.

I don’t know why Subaru hasn’t done it yet...

I don’t care, I’ll never call this a WRX.
But I guess the CUV looks for normies out there...

Still, I prefer to call it the Crosstrek XT.

I hate this timeline.

Mitsubishi is a dead brand by now in the US as what Lancia is to Europe.

What does Mitsu has to offer!?
- A rebadge ICE & PHEV-version of the Nissan Rouge!? (Outlander)
- A zombie badged CUV Coupe? (Eclipse Cross)
- A uncompetitive compact CUV? (Outlander Sport/ASX/RVR)

What Mitsu needs to do is to be a niche of its own,

No more fun Accord in this generation.

Just like the ultra-bland 8th generation. The only saving grace on the 8th-gen that it had a Coupe V6 6MT model.

This 11th generation has none of that plus more!
- No 2.0T
- No 6MT

I hate this timeline...

Well, Chevy Spark it is!

Those taillights are horrid by the way.

Hmmm...
This Corso California RT or...
...Ariel Atom 4 Turbo...or...Campagna T-Rex RR 1400...or...KTM X-Bow R...or...Vuhl 05...or...Caterham Se7en 360/420...or...Polaris Slingshot R?

Yes, yes, and definitely YES!

‘55-’72 & ‘83-’15 are the sweet spots.

Anything newer are CUVs, CUVs, CVTs, EVs, and mostly smartphones on wheels.

Heck, even the WRX has turned into a CUV sedan!!! I hate this timeline.

Everyone’s been generalizing, so I’ll be very specific on this one:

6th-Generation Toyota Hilux (1997-2005).
This makes the 1st-generation Tacoma look like a Ridgeline in comparison.
Has enough tech, yet has a robust frame (unlike the rust-tastic Taco), also the best looking, more body configurations (also a 8ft bed!),
