To be fair, it wasn’t like an award show where there’s some kind of collective energy or excitement going on, it was literally just an hour of commercials in front of a studio audience.

Elon is doing a great job of killing Twitter, which is what I have to believe was the endgame.
On the other hand, twitter sorting all the blue checks to the top makes blocking much easier.
The narrative being pushed is that the LGBTQ community is a homogenous mass of pedophile groomers who want to “induct” children into their “lifestyle.”
It is so darkly funny that Twitter now exclusively shows you Blue subscriber replies, and that entire group are reliably some of the most homophobic, transphobic fucking lunatics you’ve ever heard in your lives, so despite the general response being “what a scumbag,” the replies to that Dexerto tweet are just…
I think a lot of us got that “modern gaming isn’t designed with us in mind” feeling with this one.
I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that you genuinely don’t understand, and spelling it out for you: his tweet suggests LGBT people are pedophiles, hence “they should leave little children alone”. If you don’t see why that’s bad... well.
One thing that really stood out to me during the event was just how dead the audience was from start to finish. It’s like they were collectively dared to show as little energy as possible during the entire thing.
For the most part Mac does but a lot are skipped. What’s unusual about this is Blizzard has traditionally released all their games on Mac and I just assumed it got a Mac release. So I’m just as surprised as she is. It does seem though that with macOS Sonoma it’ll be easier to port games to Mac.
I’m still surprised that in 2023 they don’t have ports to Macs for AAA games since there are a ton of people who use macs now unlike in say 1999 or 2000. I only play on console (Xbox X) nowadays since my laptop is nowhere near powerful enough to run most PC games well, but still I get why people are bothered.
I think Game Grumps has found its next guest!
Yeah, the fact that Diablo IV has no “offline option at all” means I’m probably never going to play hardcore. It was bad enough in D2 losing hardcore characters from lag (which is how you lost them) but losing your character because b.net hiccuped in the way that b.net often does, or because my ISP is doing…
Even when I had Cox Internet, their infrastructure is so poorly maintained that there’d be random outages once a week. Now that I have Verizon 5G, random drops still happen (though they last only a minute or two). I guess I’m never attempting a hardcore character.
Kinda reminds me of how Capcom handled rage quitters during the release of mvc3. If you rage quit enough, you were locked into fighting other rage quitters.
I had asked in some other article why people hate required internet connections for games so much..
Important note: The horse mount is not “any” streamer. There is a specific list that it applies to. It’s like 96 pages long so there are plenty of options but still an important difference to note.
A part of the problem is that it’s a structurally weak union. This guy can go make money independently streaming that most of the rest of the membership can’t. He can also hop over to an international league where the economics are better (because the talent is a lot higher and international interest in e-sports in…
More like “Screw you, got mine.”
This just in, “professional” gamer is an idiot.
whle it is ancient now, sacred 2 was also a really strong overhead game with weirdly quirky german humor, fairly deep skill customization, and for fans of power metal band “blind guardian” a amusing cameo. the weapons had impressive variety and it even included the option of mounted combat, with each character having…
