Some genres I’m okay with having longer games. Hell, I’ve already put 80 hours into Fire Emblem Three Houses. Platinum’s games I think are perfect at the 20ish-hour mark. I enjoyed every minute of Bayonetta, but I wouldn’t want it to be 100 hours long by any means.

But I’m not finished with Fire Emblem Three Houses yet! >_<

I came into Astral Chain expecting a nice action game with a pleasant anime aesthetic, a a scoop of ice cream with a cherry on top. Platinum Games gave me a giant sundae piled high with whipped cream and sliced fruit and chocolate sauce. And nuts. Pecans. Love those pecans. What I wanted is there, and it’s good.

Too many games, not enough Money

Thanks to Tim Rogers, I cannot look at Astral Chain without also thinking of Zoolander. These cops are really, really, ridiculously good looking.

Happily wrapped up in 18 hours?

Psh. 3 dimensional suckers. I am already enjoying the game and looking back fondly upon it, while looking forward to it.

DAMN YOU, LINEAR TIME!

Later in the thread it says that, yeah, some swag is on the way.

now if only 2019 can produce about 30,000 more wholesome stories we MIGHT break even this year

Titanfall 2, easily.

Sonic Adventure 2. Full Stop.

I’m going to take you a step further, because not all kinds of sequels are the same.

Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light.

Kinda on topic-

I’m playing on Hard/Classic and maybe it was me but it had a weird curve. Started out hard, then got easier towards the end of part one/start of part two. Now that I am towards the end it’s back to being hard. I had some trouble but its nothing a warp + my OP Byleth cant handle. Seriously so many battles I ended

I find the women much more interesting than the guys so far. You are coming up on the split relatively soon, measuring game months. Im almost 60 hours in during the first year of my first play through.

Money mostly became useless for me, so I was gifting those kiddos like crazy! I ended my run having recruited: Bernadetta, dorothea, Felix, Annette, Lindhardt and Ashe. Now I started new game+ and ramped up the difficulty (normal was much too easy), but I still don’t have the guts to play classic mode. I love my

I never played Her Story but I’ve got to say this sounds pretty amazing.

Reminds me of a more modern interpretation of The Conversation or The Lives of Others.
