That font and UI looks straight out of Xenoblade Chronicles X. If I didn’t know better, I’d think Astral Chain could be its (weird) sequel.

Early on the rain may be a hindrance (in general, or for the story in Zora’s Domain) but it’s also meant to be a learning experience, and I think too many people fail to take it as such and make preparations for rain.

That’s not my read on this at all. Sounds more like they’re going to look at smaller-scale graphical tweaks that maybe don’t require the need to completely overhaul the engine.
