Yup, I caught them on the 3D World stage where Cat Mario is dodging the bullet bill type enemies coming towards the screen. :)

Some new things you *might* have missed (Some only if you just weren’t watching)

Off the top of my head, the video showed the addition of: slopes, vertical levels, custom scrolling, tornado enemy, angry sun enemy, boss bass enemy, boom boom enemy, odd ants enemy I don’t know, Super Mario 3D World theme, cat suit, coin objectives, on/off switches, clear pipes, moving block chains, moving piranha…

And Mario 2’s final boss singing songs!

Man, that Link’s Awakening announcement hit me like a Oprah audience member who just got a free car or house or bees. I still play through the D-Generation X GBC version at least once a year.

$40 seems likely, unless they’ve really fleshed it out and remember that Zelda fans will pay anything for Zelda.

60$ would still be worth it to play one of the best Zelda game ever made.
Bias: Zelda is my favorite franchise.

They’ve remade multiple Pokemon games, the NES Mario games via Super Mario All Stars, Metroid 1 via Zero Mission, and most recently Metroid 2. I’ve probably forgotten a few.

I know it wasn’t directed at me but it could be either or even both. For example, SMB levels don’t let you pick up Koopas, but all other level styles do let you.

I’m so excited for this. I never got to play the original, so this will be my first time through it. I hope it’s as great as people say it is. Also, Link looks adorable.

It will be nice to have a traditional Zelda game on the Switch too. Breath of the Wild was too different for me.

You can tell how old people are by the reaction to this announcement. “WHAT? GOOMBAS IN MY ZELDA GAME?” Yes.  It happened. And it was glorious.
