Sooooo you are making those numbers up?

Super Mario Odyssey, which finally feels like the glorious sequel to Super Mario 64. I mean there’s a giant pyramid with a whole interior level and a giant blue swimming dinosaur in the first four levels for eff’s sake. It’s fantastic. Truly incredible that we get this and Breath of the Wild in the same year.

If you don’t want to play the game because it’s not your kind of game, that is totally valid. But describing the Switch as “finicky” is not valid. If you don’t want to ever take it out of the dock, you don’t have to. I never leave my home with my Switch, but the ability to play it while someone else is using the

I love how this piece starts as giving advice on how to handle this situation, but becomes the author just working it our for herself and ultimately not really having any answers. If the stakes were higher, it might be annoying, but giving that the stakes are incredibly low, it was really fun. Thanks, Gita!

So you’re a liar then?

Excellent review. Totally agree with the grade. I haven’t seen any episode before season five in a very long time, so I don’t really remember the early Halloween episodes very well. But my favorite one is definitely “Nightmare on Facetime”.

Good thing this would never pass the Senate because they would need 60 votes to break a filibuster. The Senate can’t pass a 20-week ban. So while this is absolutely terrible, it’s ultimately neither surprising nor effectual, so why are we talking about it? Only to make people angry, I suppose.

This is a bummer. Not because I take my Switch out of my apartment ever, but because my Dock stopped working about a week ago and I’ve only been playing in handheld mode since then. That hasn’t been a problem with Stardew Valley so far, but it will be a huge problem tonight...

Yeah, the other commenter is correct that it’s basically the same thing, since you’re playing the game on the small screen. But in Nintendo’s nomenclature, Handheld and Tabletop are two different modes, so Stephen is also correct.

Now that several people have called you out on your, in the words of another commenter, “utter fucking nonsense” in regard to Animal Crossing, I’m curious as to what the “MANY” other Nintendo games you referred to that got the “Nintendo pass” (complete bullshit) are. Care to enlighten us?

Polygon had a piece a couple days ago that made essentially the same argument you are making, but they threw in some counter-examples very quickly without bothering to discuss them. One of the counter examples they mentioned was Japanese studios that don’t operate at the same “scale” as Western studios, and so their

Try reading the article before you trash its content, dipshit.

So a NOT YET, then?

If you read through the metacritic blurbs for the PS4 version, many of the reviews do say the battle system is an improvement from the last game. Definitely more than ones that say it’s worse.

Tim Kaine would have been the perfect person to carry on the legacy of Joe Biden :(

Please tell me that his last name is pronounced “DONG-er”. And that he goes by Jackie.

It’s not all W’s fault. He brought it back for sure, but this was a thing for Republicans in the early 90s, part of their Culture War. And I’m sure conservatives were making it a wedge issue long before that as well.

I just finished NieR: Automata this afternoon. That game, man. Holy shit. Constantly surprising and fascinating throughout. And the true ending of the game is one of the greatest ends to a game I’ve ever experienced. It starts to drag a bit in the last quarter I’d say, because the gameplay doesn’t really evolve

Hey, sorry to write even more after I wrote too much to begin with, but I have to amend my thoughts with regard to Nier real quick. I just finished it this afternoon, and two thoughts emerged that contradict what I said earlier - that the game had a lot less left to go to get the true ending than I thought yesterday,

I still think you’re right even after reading the developer’s response.
