I think I heard on Maddow? the other day, that there are already over 200 dems preparing to run for open Congresional seats in 2018. Vs. 68 for the Republicans (and 62 dems for this time period during the last mid-terms).

I am hopeful that we will not have to worry about this shriveled-souled neo-christian’s bad idea. It looks like the Republicans finally have experienced some consequences of their overstepping the bounds of tradition, civil discourse, and flouting the will of the people.
