Well I like driving on the highway knowing that my car won't die along with the airbags at 70 mph but I guess that's just me to expect basic safety and quality from the second largest purchase in my life.

At what point do we throw out the "oh but recalls are a good thing because the manufacturer cares enough to fix mistakes" defense, or how about the "sure they've recalled damn near every car they've made in the past decade in some form or another, but at least they're trying to get better!"
