I’ll be the half-joking contrarian: My argument is for people to stop having fucking kids!

If you’re a Jalop and your car has ASS technology, you’re doing it wrong, as this feature is never found on manuals ;-)

Not disagreeing with the overall thrust of your comment, but the only bicycles I’m aware of with “no brakes” are velodrome racers, and nobody is riding those on the street.  Every bicycle I’ve ever ridden could pretty much stop on a dime, especially when compared to the stopping distance of an automobile at similar

In Southern CA it’s usually quicker to go inside than wait in the drive-through. It also makes it more likely that they’ll get your order correct, and even if they don’t you’ll have the chance to have them fix it before it’s too late.

Yes, “being against gay people” is wrong. Missing, or purposefully ignoring, the significant nuance between being against gay people and being against governmental redefinition of marriage, so that you can virtue-signal with your outrage, is also wrong.

I’m gay and I support gay marriage, but still understand the

Chick-Fil-A as a company has no stance on LGBTQ rights and has not contributed for or against them in any way. The private owners of Chick-Fil-A have personally contributed their private funds to causes that promote traditional marriage over gay marriage, outside of the scope of the restaurant. Um...that’s not how that works.

Or perhaps this is /s?

...and you shall receive:

Standard on 2LT and higher trim.  Likely can be ordered as an option on base 1LT.

I maintain that GM could’ve expected an approximately equal take-rate curve through the C8's lifespan. That the take-rate for C7 manuals had dwindled to ~20% in its twilight year in no way implies that would carry over to the C8's maiden year.

Aaaaannnd...just as they did when American luxury models ditched the factory landau tops, every Chevy dealer out there will simply reach out to their accessory vendors to “dip” the factory wheels. Then they’ll put that car on a turntable at the front of their lot with a 300% markup on the aftermarket chrome job.

A couple random thoughts...

Excellent feature, but 3 seconds is waaaaaayyyy too long. The “hike” action should be pretty much instantaneous. Expect multiple drivers behind you LAYING on their horns as you stop or slow to a crawl for no reason apparent to them, waiting for the nose to rise, before negotiating the bump

I disagree with your conclusions. The Supra is much closer to competing as a Japanese pony car than it is as a competitor to a mid-engine near exotic from a premium European marque. When you look at it in those terms it becomes clear that with its power deficit, auto only, and Toyota badge, it’s well out of its

The C8 only serves as an illustrative benchmark to further call-out an existing problem—The Supra was well overpriced the day it was launched.

I can’t speak for the C8, but the C7's option included both heated and cooled seats. Technically, it was “ventilated”, as the air was not actually further cooled beyond the ambient cabin temperature. Although, with the seat fan residing below the seat and pulling its air from the floor area, I found that directing AC

Or provide a “Competetion Delete Package” option to tick, that comprehensively removes all of the unnecessary weight luxuries.

Forgive me if I mis-parsed the double negatives in your post, but my 2018 Volt LT has a backup cam without park assist, as did my 2016 C7 Z51 2LT. I don’t think it’s uncommon at all to have the cam (now legally required), but not the park assist feature, on a GM vehicle.

Massive, but luxurious, pickups are good for pulling 5th wheel travel-trailers in comfort.

I’d much rather have a vehicle sensor flashing, vibrating, and beeping at me because I left a child (or even the damn groceries) in the back of the car, than one doing the same because I chose to brake for traffic later than it deemed acceptable or got closer to a lane marker than it thought appropriate.

Same mentality that dictates a wing on the back of a FWD car.
