Much of the those in Hollywood scene are not only regular drug users, but almost universally supply their drugs to everyone who touches their social circles and their parties. This has been the case since the dawn of Hollywood, was overtly ubiquitous in the 80s DeLorean era, and is still widely conducted today.

Indeed...and it’s nothing short of a shame :-(

ELR example is on-point, but a non plug-in, small battery assisted, hybrid ICE SUV doesn’t qualify as “electrification”.  At least not in today’s sense of the term.

There’s a little more to it than that. In modern aircraft with fully digital fly-by-wire flight controls and FADEC throttles, there is no physical connection between the sticks, levers, and pedals the aircrew are manipulating and the mechanicals of the aircraft. That said, in these systems the computer(s) *IS* the

Exactly. This is just silly.  If you’re going to make it a sportback, then give it a 5th door hatch. If not, then make it a proper sedan.

I wasn’t aware of the sunroof loss, although that doesn’t really matter to me. Aside of that however, all you lose on the G70 manual is leather interior and some additional body and wheel color choices. The manual automatically upgrades you to the performance suspension and brakes, and there just aren’t that many

Well, they pretty much did out-Nurburgring BMW, which, but for the M2, is a mushy, corpulent shell of its former self.

This! Leave the alphanumerics to the Europeans and Asians. Heck, their numbers don’t even mean anything anymore. Let proper names differentiate the vehicles of America.

It sure would be nice if they just brought back proper names. Leave the alphanumerics to the Europeans and Asians. Heck, their numbers don’t even mean anything anymore. Let proper names differentiate the vehicles of America.

Came here to say just that—the C-pillar looks like something off a down market (from Cadillac) Japanese sedan. Also, why the speedback/hatchback design, when it appears to have a trunk lid in the photos? That’s just silly. Either do a 5th door hatch for versatility, or make it a proper sedan.

I’m not sure if it’s that we suck at it, or rather that we simply don’t care, since nearly by definition, the cars that enthusiasts like and care about are not the cars that appeal to the sales masses.  So when we say things like “Lincoln is making a comeback”, or something of the like, we are almost universally

It’s a drawn-out public testing cycle, not development cycle. This thing has been lurking around in camo on US public roads as well as the Nurburgring for over 2 years now—that’s a long time for any pre-production car in the public domain. It’s getting to the point where this is becoming a repeat of the bullshit, 4+

1985 called...It wants its “American cars always suck” trope back.

Sales success=/= excellent products. We can talk about commercial success of a vehicle and we can talk about a vehicle’s design excellence. But you cannot equate or conflate the two. Many times they’re even inversely proportional. Jalops typically appreciate vehicles for their excellence of design and mostly couldn’t

Not sure if you’re serious or sarcastic, but with the C7 having been as universally well-regarded from day 1 as it is, I’m not sure why the C8 would be anything less upon its release.

Indeed! ;-)

They’ve certainly had cooling issues with the C7 Z06's, but the C8 is decidely not GM’s first mid-engine rodeo.

I think all the mid-engine exotics pretty much look alike—Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, etc., and now Corvette. I believe there’s just something about mid-engine architecture that pretty much forces an exterior design into a much tighter set of parameters than those for front-engine vehicles.

This Takata goat-rope is officially out of control. How are tens, if not hundreds, of people not rotting in prisons over this? How is the US government not forcing a compliance deadline on manufacturers, suppliers, and dealers, under penalty of asset seizures, license forfeitures, and prison time?

Only question that matters at this point is, “Is it now finally a manual?”
