Im giving you a star just for the gif.

I agree. The lower, wider, rounder front end makes it look all fishy now.

This is why I like Forza. I love racing, but the real fun for me is designing graphic packages on cars, or recreating liveries from race cars.

Their food court in Torrance is awesome. Makes sense that they’d open one up down there, at lunch its pretty much 50/50 Honda and Toyota employees.

My wife owns a Mercury Mariner. There is a forum called “Escape City” and the Mariner section is called “Mariner Manor”. It’s a pretty terrible forum honestly. Nothing like a crap forum to boost your confidence as a weekend mechanic.

Thats what I love about the Lexus ad where the middle aged investor looking guy chases papers into the street and the Lexus stops itself. Common dude, you should know better than to run into the street like that, you’re an adult.

I’d be interested to know how much of a difference weight plays into it. I’m going to guess not much for something like a daily driver, but I’m still curious. I wanted the 18in R32 wheels on my wagon for a while, but they’re anchors. I went with an aftermarket set of BBS 17s that are lighter and wider and I love them.

Since a lot of work is done in 3D now they actually have models of hands and tools that they use to see if they’ll fit. I’m not an engineer, but I work with engineering data, and occasionally we get our data with all these hands and tools stuck around the engine bay.

Funny, the same thing came up this weekend with my friends and I. We rented an RV and drove up to Laguna Seca, all while stopping at some random places, and taking a side trip to see a friend of a friend in San Jose. You can make the argument that not having to drive the RV would be more relaxing, but I honestly

GMs had a similar feature as well. Not so spread out like this, but the washer jet was on the wiper arm. I loved that about my Grand Prix and wish it had actually caught on for other cars.

I was a teenager and my parents went to the dealership to price out a new car. Every now and again they’d get the itch, but ultimately just drive cheap used cars.

I grew up just north of Albany, and though that area wasn’t hit as hard as places like Rochester and Detroit, there are many small towns that are nothing because they no longer manufacture things like rugs, leather goods, etc etc. I went to college in Detroit, and then moved to CA. With the exception of my parents, my

I saw a black 57 Nomad over the weekend with NO1 MAD. That’s pretty sweet in my opinion. I also like when someone references the engine or chassis code on their plate. Then it looks meaningless unless you know the specifics of that car.

As someone who grew up on the East Coast and moved to California, this is the problem with everyone here. The highway can be empty at 2AM, and there will be a guy tapping his brakes every 30 seconds.

My parents had a 71 Monte, so I was always partial to the one from Tokyo Drift. They actually sold it last year after owning it for 20 years... it still bums me out.

My freshman year of college the design department somehow had a 1/4 scale fiberglass version of this thing that they planned on throwing out until I asked to have it. I ended up keeping it in my dorm for a bit before bringing it back home. Trouble was I had a two door, and had to drive through Canada to get back home.

Oh shit sorry. I didn’t see the other comments. If it makes you feel better I’ve owned the car for 4 years before I finally looked it up. I thought it was just a weird quirk as well.

My VW does the same thing with the windows. I actually looked this up, and the reason that I found is that the switch has to recognize where the end of the track is when going up and down. So after cycling the windows manually a few times, it knows where to stop it and the one touch function resumes again. I don’t

My family had two separate Grand Prix that did it, and my friend also had one as well. It became like a party trick for me. I’d be driving down the highway with a car full of people, pull the key out, and act all scared like it just fell out.

With the amount of 0% financing you can get, I definitely agree. Just for the hell of it the other day, I priced out a new Mustang. You can get 0% financing on a GT for 60 months, or 3.4% for 72 months. I don’t think I’m in the place to buy a new car, but 0% for 60 months is extremely tempting.
