As long as the trans doesnt give out, thats why I sold mine. Also, +1 for the CEL, thats how you know everything is working properly.

Always loved those awesome wheels that came on the Astros

Funny that you mention that, I have a friend that become a cop, and he said that the Impalas were the most fun to drive in training because it was so unpredictable.

Its a PES G2. The M90 had a much longer snout.

Not a huge fan of the car, but Desert Khaki is an awesome color. Kinda hard to see in some photos but its a non metallic gray/green.

Well, time to get my car re painted.

Thats true too. I saw a few people talking about Subarus, and I even see it with my VW. Everyone thinks that their stuff is worth big money, even if its just complete junk. (wheels, interior trim pieces, body panels etc)

Thanks Barret Jackson! Damn inflated prices on classic cars.

Holy steering wheel buttons batman!

Had a plain black one as my first helmet when I was a little kid. I grew to hate it as a dumb teenager, but as a young adult, my tastes are better and this thing is sooo classic. Especially with a big metal flake paint scheme like that.

If your car doesn't have it, worst case scenario is that you forget to turn them on and get a ticket, or make people angry on your way. You will realize it at some point. If your car does have it, the shadow of a building or a short underpass can trigger your lights, which will drive you mad.

Ive heard the emissions stuff before just because my car as a 'secondary air injection' pump that will run at start up to heat up the catalytic converter faster, so your cold start emissions are better.

I was always told that leaving a car idling like that for extended periods of time wasn't good for the engine because it doesn't properly burn all the fuel, therefor clogging your catalytic converter. Not saying I'm right or wrong, that's just what I was always told. Probably a myth as well.

THIS. Ive never owned a car with under 100k, and I've never been left stranded. Regular maintenance is a beautiful thing.

My older sister is the worst with this. She'll let her car 'warm up' anywhere between 10-30 min. She doesnt understand that shes doing more harm than good. Ill start the car and wait for the initial idle to settle, then im on my way.

God I hate the 4 cyl argument. Between people complaining that their car has a 4cyl and therefor has no power. Or when people like to talk shit about my car because "those VWs only come with V4's" Obviously I understand my car is a sports car, but common your argument is completely invalid, please just shhh.

Its the unpopular opinion, but this is what I thought all along. Most (not saying all) motorcyclists are not going to try and pick a fight. They may act dumb, drive erratically etc, but theyre not picking a fight with something that weighs 10 times more then them. However, when something happens, and they are

THIS. I grew up in a pretty rural area, and a lot of people were 'afraid' of driving on the highway and would go super slow. It was so hard for them to understand that its a terrible idea. My girlfriends mom doesnt like to drive on the highway, so she doesnt. It takes her a while to get anywhere, but I'd rather do

I was thinking the other day that Detroit could be a cool option. Theres a lot of corruption already, there are good parts and bad parts, and Canada is right next door. You could have some missions or something when you need to cross the boarder, could be pretty fun.

Thats what I used it for in a friends CX7. We were driving through the mountains of western NC and the trans was struggling with all the ups and downs. Sticking it in manual mode let me engine brake down the hills, and already be in a low enough gear to get back up the hill.
