Yea I did the same thing. Might be a little vacuum cleaner/toilet flush like, but I like the sound. Plus its fun to scare people on the sidewalks when I let off and go to shift.

I had someones kid rip open, and spread every packet of sugar out on the table. They did nothing. They didnt clean it up. And they just sorta laughed and apologized after not leaving me a tip. This is also at a fairly nice seafood restaurant, so keep your dumb ass kid outta here, he only ordered chicken fingers

Or if hes in far enough and the spaces are deep enough, parallel park again next to him

I went to a competition school, and tuition was just as much, with an even crappier education. Some of my classmates got design jobs, but we could all agree we basically wasted our money.

Pretty much any school takes anyone these days. I can't really speak for Art Center, but i know that CCS is definitely just a business. If you'll pay the tuition, they'll find a place for you in some kind of design program, trans, automotive, product etc.

hell yeaa!

Dooo ittt! I love driving around with the lights on haha. Wrap them tight tho, or they start to sag a little and make noise bouncing off the roof at highway speeds.

I strung up some lights on my roof rack and ran it to the rear plug with an inverter. I love all the looks i get from people haha

O no i totally agree. If you think about a brand like Mercedes (since theyve been on the brain) they sell to everyone. Some rish old dude might drive a CLS, or S class. And a younger guy might drive an older E class or something. Lincoln could be a bad ass brand if, like you said, they stop listening to the marketing

My first car was a 1995 mercury mystique. Bought it from my cousin for $500 bucks and would follow my buddy in his lifted XJ off road everywhere. Little guy did pretty well. Worst that happened was a busted a front spring haha.

That is a really good point. The Actros is really cool too, so its a shame that no one knows about it haha.

Its almost like a vicious circle i think. They think its dangerous cuz they dont know how to properly handle a vehicle when that happens. But if they learned from the beginning in the drivers test instead of shit like "to be properly prepared, have your sunglasses, becuase its important to see when driving" they

Yea there are a few interchanges around here where people find it necessary to slow down to 40mph, when theres no posted slow down. Like the interchange is designed to be taken at 70. That and I went to school with a lot of people that were legit afraid to drive on the highway so they drive under the speed limit.

Its really funny the reactions I get when I propose #1 to people. Most people get all skidish about it and assume that the driving test will be "harder" and learning how to control your car can be "dangerous" (ie finland: having to loose control and regain control of your vehicle on wet tarmac). I mean, i know when I

Nope, 3-5 years experience needed in related design field. I couldn't get a design job either... Closest I got was a position at Kohler in Wisconsin and that didn't make it past the second portfolio review... Working for Lincoln would be tight tho, especially if they wanted to shift the brand a M-B level and you could

The free version of the software is really limited if I'm correct... Maybe its different for my mk4 software, but if i want to actually perform any thing beyond basic diagnostic, I have to shell out some cash for the software.

Arent the ducks martlets? I believe they have some sort of religious meaning and they were also on his coat of arms.

Theres such a strong emphasis to make sure everything has a "face". Something recognizable about the car. But if you can pull it off something without a grille like a lot of the older cars it looks very handsome. Corvairs, old VW's the BMW pictured etc, look very handsome and aged well because they're clean, simple,

Yesss. Just saw this, and it definitely made my morning haha. Time to install some laser cannons to the wagon. And master the force.

By no means the most terrifying, but it can be a pretty hairy drive depending on road conditions. The portion of 696 between Southfield and Royal Oak. I always invision pinballing off all the walls since its below ground level. Once during a snowstorm I came around the blind turn into one of the tunnels to see a lady
